BOLOs & Bulletins
Patrolfinder is the cutting-edge, patent-pending software solution at your officers’ fingertips. Accessed on the MDT (Mobile Data Terminal) of your patrol officers, Patrolfinder helps increase equitable policing, improve department transparency, improve officer safety and officer efficiency.
Patrolfinder will help your officers make better decisions. The result: Better community relations and a safer city.
This video outlines how Patrolfinder ensures that all members of the police department has easy access to bolos and bulletins before and during their shift even if they’ve missed the shift change briefing.
Key benefits outlined in this video.
Improved Information Sharing and Access: Supervisors can easily create and access bulletins to share important information with the entire department. This information is centralized and readily available, unlike previous methods that were “cumbersome” and made it difficult to find and update bulletins. Patrolfinder provides a “one-stop shop” for officers to access all the relevant information they need before and during their shift.
Streamlined Lineup Meetings: During lineup, supervisors can use the Patrolfinder dashboard to quickly review and present the latest bulletins, BOLOs (Be On the Lookout), and other critical information. This ensures all officers are informed, even if they missed a previous lineup or shift change. Officers can then refer back to the bulletins and BOLOs in Patrolfinder throughout their shift, rather than having to manually write down details.
Enhanced Community Engagement: Patrolfinder allows officers to easily create and share bulletins with video footage or other evidence related to unsolved crimes. This helps engage the community, as officers can inform citizens that they are taking additional steps to solve crimes by sharing information broadly with the department.
Enhanced Crime Solving Capabilities: Patrolfinder makes it easy for officers to share video footage or other evidence from the community related to unsolved crimes. This allows more officers to be aware of these cases and increases the chances of someone recognizing a suspect or having additional information to help solve the crime.
